LANDCARE MANAGER/DIVISION LEAD

Brookside Landscapes is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking individual to take the helm of our growing Landcare division. While this maintenance sector is currently a smaller portion of our overall business, it possesses massive potential for expansion.

You’ll hit the ground running with Brookside. You’ll inherit basic operational structures, a loyal client base, and the instant community credibility that comes from our recognized design/build work. With the full technical backing of our in-house ​industry experts, you'll have the support you need to thrive. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, people-focused leader ready to solve problems, optimize our systems, and scale this division ​into a thriving profit center.

Sales & Growth: Drive new Landcare revenue and foster recurring sales to expand the division.

Operations & Team: Manage day-to-day operations, coordinate schedules, and support field staff to ensure high-quality execution.

Client Relations: Serve as the primary, trusted point of contact, ensuring exceptional service and beautiful landscapes.

Systems Optimization: Refine our foundational frameworks and implement new best practices to scale the division efficiently.

What You Will Do

  • Manage day-to-day Landcare sales, prospecting new clients while nurturing existing relationships to secure recurring contracts.

  • Take our existing systems to the next level. You will refine routing structures, upgrade standard operating procedures, and implement best practices to make the division scalable.

  • Collaborate closely with Brookside's established experts in other departments, utilizing their technical knowledge for support and smoothly transitioning new design/build projects into ongoing maintenance accounts.

  • Coordinate daily and weekly schedules and routing, ensuring crews are deployed effectively and jobs are completed to Brookside’s high standards.

  • Serve as a hands-on leader for your field staff, providing guidance, solving on-site problems, and ensuring your team has what they need to succeed.

  • Look ahead to the future, using your autonomy to strategically guide the direction of the maintenance sector to better serve our clients and produce sustainable profit.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in the Turfgrass/Landscape industry is preferred. Note: We are willing to consider candidates of all experience levels who possess the right drive and leadership qualities.

  • Illinois Pesticide Applicator License preferred (or a strong willingness to obtain one upon hire).

  • You possess strong leadership and organizational skills, paired with the ability to work independently and efficiently. 

  • You possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, capable of building trust with both clients and team members.

  • You are forward-thinking, detail-oriented, and excited by the challenge of optimizing existing processes while introducing fresh ideas to drive growth.
